Diving
Some of the most beautiful blue waters in the world are situated along the coast of Belize. If diving is your passion then this is the place to be.
cayereef is ideally situated directly overlooking the world’s second largest coral reef (a UNESCO designated World Heritage site) and The Caye Caulker Marine Reserve.
The reef supports a dazzling array wildlife including over 400 species of fish and if you love diving or just want to try it out then you will find yourself spoilt for choice here.
There are numerous dive sites within easy reach including world renowned sites such as Hol Chan Marine Reserve, the Blue Hole, Pyramid Flats, Turneffe Atoll, Eagle Ray Canyon, Half Moon Caye and St George’s Caye.
There are a range of professional dive operators on the island. Two of the most respected are Frenchie's Diving and Belize Diving Service. Frenchie’s is located just few steps along the beach from cayereef and BDS is within a leisurely 10 minute walk.
Dive trips and PADI courses can be easily arranged on arrival although during the peak season it is best to pre-book dive courses. We would be pleased to advise you on the range of operators and options on the island.
