With 170 miles of barrier reef, and an abundance of flats and lagoons, Belize is a fisherman’s paradise.

There are a huge variety of fish here for the taking:- snappers, goupers, jacks, Tarpon, ladyfish, bonefish, permit, African pompano, king mackeral, jack, cobia, wahoo, tuna, red drum and sailfish to name a few.
Fishing trips are easy to organise. There is a choice of reputable tour operators on the island offering spin, drop line, reef, hand line, spear fishing, spear fishing, fly and trolling trips. If you have your own gear then just about any skipper will take you out fishing.
